Terms & conditions

Last updated: 7 September 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made from Vintiik.ee and other distance sales concluded with Vintiik.

The seller is:

Vindeco OÜ
Trading as Vintiik

By placing an order, you enter into a sales contract with Vindeco OÜ. Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory rights granted to consumers under applicable law.

1. Products

Vintiik primarily sells vintage and pre-owned furniture, lighting and interior objects.

Most of our pieces are several decades old. Age-related wear, patina, colour variation, previous repairs and other signs of use are normal characteristics of vintage goods.

We aim to describe the condition of each item accurately and provide photographs showing its overall condition. Material defects, damage or repairs known to us are disclosed where relevant.

Because screens and lighting conditions vary, colours and surface tones shown in photographs may differ slightly from the item’s appearance in person.

Customers are welcome to request additional photographs, measurements, condition information or video before purchasing.

The age, designer, manufacturer, model, materials and provenance of vintage items are stated according to the information reasonably available to us. Where an attribution is uncertain, this will be indicated where relevant.

2. Prices

All prices displayed to consumers are in euros and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

Delivery charges are shown during the ordering process where they can be calculated in advance. Where delivery requires an individual quotation because of the item’s size, destination or other circumstances, the delivery price will be communicated to the customer before the order is confirmed.

No additional charge will be applied without the customer’s agreement.

3. Ordering and Contract Formation

Products may be purchased through our online store or through another ordering method offered by Vintiik.

An order becomes binding when Vintiik has accepted the order and the customer has received an order confirmation.

If an item is unavailable because of an inventory error, simultaneous sale or another exceptional circumstance, we may cancel the order and refund all payments made for that item.

Because many Vintiik products are unique pieces, availability is limited and an item may become unavailable once sold.

4. Reservations

Where the reservation option is available, an item may normally be reserved for up to 24 hours.

A reservation does not constitute a completed sale unless payment or another expressly agreed commitment has been made.

If payment is not received within the agreed reservation period, Vintiik may release the item for sale again.

5. Payment

Available payment methods are displayed during checkout or communicated to the customer before completion of the order.

Payment must be made according to the payment terms shown when ordering.

Ownership of the goods remains with Vindeco OÜ until the purchase price has been paid in full.

6. Delivery

Vintiik delivers within Estonia and to selected international destinations.

Available delivery methods, estimated delivery times and delivery charges depend on the item’s dimensions and destination.

Any delivery timeframe communicated to the customer is an estimate unless a specific delivery date has expressly been agreed.

The customer is responsible for providing accurate delivery information and for informing Vintiik in advance of circumstances that may materially affect delivery, including restricted access, narrow staircases or doorways, unusual carrying distances or other obstacles.

The customer should inspect the goods as soon as reasonably possible after delivery and inform Vintiik promptly if the item has been damaged during transport.

Nothing in this section limits the customer’s statutory rights regarding delivery, transport damage or lack of conformity.

7. Collection

Where collection is offered, goods may be collected from Vintiik at Turu 47/2, Tartu, Estonia, at an agreed time.

The customer should inspect the item when collecting it where reasonably possible.

Collection of an online order does not by itself remove a consumer’s statutory right of withdrawal where that right otherwise applies.

8. 14-Day Right of Withdrawal

A consumer who concludes a distance contract generally has the right to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason within 14 days.

For goods, the withdrawal period generally begins on the day on which the consumer, or a third party designated by the consumer other than the carrier, takes physical possession of the goods.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the consumer must inform Vintiik of the decision to withdraw by an unequivocal statement before the withdrawal period expires.

The notice may be sent to:

reeno@vintiik.ee

The consumer may also use the model withdrawal form made available by Vintiik, but use of that form is not mandatory.

9. Returns Following Withdrawal

After notifying Vintiik of withdrawal, the consumer must return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after communicating the decision to withdraw, unless Vintiik has agreed to collect the goods.

Because many of our products are furniture and other large items that cannot normally be returned by post, the consumer bears the direct cost of returning the goods, unless Vintiik has expressly agreed otherwise or applicable law requires otherwise.

Please contact us before arranging the return of large furniture so that appropriate return transport can be coordinated.

Goods must be returned to:

Vindeco OÜ / Vintiik
Turu 47/2

Tartu 50104
Estonia

The consumer is responsible for taking reasonable care of the goods while they are in their possession.

The consumer may be liable for any diminished value resulting from handling the goods beyond what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning. In general, the item should only be handled in a manner comparable to what would reasonably be permitted when examining it in a physical shop.

This does not prevent the consumer from exercising the statutory right of withdrawal.

10. Refunds Following Withdrawal

Following a valid withdrawal, Vintiik will refund payments received under the contract, including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered for the order, as required by applicable law.

If the customer chose a delivery method that was more expensive than the least expensive standard delivery method offered, Vintiik is not required to refund the additional delivery cost.

Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original transaction unless otherwise agreed.

Vintiik may withhold the refund until the goods have been returned or the consumer has provided evidence that the goods have been sent back, whichever occurs first, unless Vintiik has agreed to collect the goods.

11. Personalised and Made-to-Order Goods

The statutory right of withdrawal may not apply to goods that are made to the consumer’s specifications or are clearly personalised, where the applicable legal requirements for this exception are met.

This may include, for example, furniture that is specifically upholstered, modified or otherwise customised for a customer according to an individual selection or specification.

Where an order is considered personalised and the statutory right of withdrawal therefore does not apply, this will be made clear to the customer before the order is placed.

The absence of a right of withdrawal for a personalised product does not affect the consumer’s statutory rights if the product is defective, does not conform to the agreed specification or otherwise does not conform to the contract.

12. Vintage Condition and Conformity

The vintage or pre-owned nature of an item forms part of its characteristics.

Normal age-related wear, patina, minor variations and other characteristics that were disclosed to the customer or that form part of the specifically agreed condition of the item are not treated in the same way as an undisclosed lack of conformity.

However, describing an item as vintage, antique, restored or pre-owned does not exclude or restrict any mandatory consumer rights.

Vintiik is responsible for lack of conformity in accordance with applicable consumer law.

In consumer sales, statutory rights relating to lack of conformity may apply where a lack of conformity becomes apparent within two years after delivery, subject to the conditions and rules provided by applicable law.

13. Complaints and Defective Goods

If an item appears to be defective, materially different from its description, damaged in transport or otherwise not in conformity with the contract, please contact us at:

reeno@vintiik.ee

Please include the order details and, where useful, photographs showing the issue so that we can assess the matter efficiently.

For consumer sales, complaints and remedies relating to lack of conformity are handled in accordance with applicable mandatory consumer law.

These rights are separate from the 14-day right of withdrawal.

14. Showroom Viewings

Items may be viewed at our premises at Turu 47/2, Tartu, by arrangement.

We encourage customers purchasing significant vintage pieces to request any additional information they need before purchasing.

Viewing an item before subsequently purchasing it online does not automatically remove statutory consumer rights that apply to the particular contract.

15. Business Customers

Certain statutory consumer protections described in these Terms, including the 14-day consumer right of withdrawal, apply specifically to consumers and may not apply to purchases made by companies or persons acting for purposes related to their trade, business or profession.

Terms for business-to-business transactions may be agreed separately.

16. Governing Law

Contracts with Vintiik are governed by Estonian law.

If the customer is a consumer residing in another EU Member State, this choice of law does not deprive the consumer of mandatory protections granted by the law that would otherwise apply to them.

17. Dispute Resolution

If you have a complaint, please contact Vintiik first at reeno@vintiik.ee so that we can attempt to resolve the matter directly.

Consumers may also have the right to refer a dispute to the competent consumer dispute resolution body in accordance with applicable law.

For consumers in Estonia, information about consumer rights and dispute resolution is available from the Estonian Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority (TTJA).

Nothing in these Terms limits the consumer’s right to seek remedies through a competent court or another dispute resolution mechanism available under applicable law.

18. Changes to These Terms

Vintiik may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time.

The terms applicable to an order are those in force at the time the relevant contract is concluded, unless a change is required by mandatory law.
