These six teak chairs show the Model 42's distinctive Z-form arms, which angle outward from the rear legs, sculpted handrests .Floating backrest that tilts independently from the seat — a feature that gives the chair its noted comfort. Seat is supported from beneath by webbing straps adding to the comfort. Proportions throughout are lean, and the warm reddish-brown teak shows a well-defined grain.
All six chairs are being sold as a set for restoration. The existing striped upholstery is aged and should be replaced. You can choose your own fabric when having them reupholstered. This is a straightforward opportunity to bring a complete set back to full use in a finish of your own choosing.
