A rare Tobia Scarpa designed Bastiano 2-seater sofa manufactured in Finland by Haimi in the early 1970s. This Finnish version is considered one of the highest-quality and most sought-after productions of the Bastiano line — crafted in solid rosewood with beautiful grain and exceptional joinery.
The frame features Scarpa’s signature architectural lines, sculptural square legs, and the original tension-cord seat support system Minimalist, heavy, and unmistakably refined.A true collector’s piece and a perfect base for custom cushions in wool, linen, canvas, or leather.
